Greetings! My name is Julie Anne Steiger and I am the Founder of A Human Sanctuary, a Somatic Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor based in Idyllwild, CA.

I have dedicated my career to mastering the most effective practices for healing and growth after trauma. I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, am certified in Expressive Arts and Ecotherapy, and am EMDR Trained. Along with psychoeducation, I regularly utilize Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness based practices, and animal assisted therapy.
It is my personal belief that healing and growing from our soul wounds is quite possibly the most sacred and powerful work we can engage in, for ourselves and for the planet.
